- What: Black everyday bag
- Who: Tiffany, California
- Question: I'm looking for a black, everyday bag--not too trendy but also makes a statement. I would love your thoughts on this Giant City bag by Balenciaga with Rose Gold Hardware. Other contenders include the Medium Chloe Paraty and Givenchy Nightingale (your thoughts on these and any other recommendations would be great.) Because of the high price point, I would like a bag that will take me through the years.
- Answer: First of all: you can't go wrong with any of these 3 bags. They are all gorgeous, have supple leather and minimal hardware. That said, the Chloe is our favorite. We love the simplicity of the design with the details of the gold hardware. That one seems the most timeless to us but as we said you seriously can't go wrong!! Enjoy your new purchase.

- What: Anthropologie Vagabond Dress
- Who: Christine, NYC
- Question: I love an easy jersey dress that can go from summer into fall. I also love the color of this dress as it's a beautiful shade of blue. What are your thoughts on this dress and how would you dress it up for evening?
- Answer: We agree with you about this color. It is pretty, flattering and season-less. Love that it is a rich color without being black. Our only concern about the dress is if it could make one look hip-py? If you have tried it on and it is flattering, we really like it. Dress it up by wearing a pair of strappy metallic sandals, stacking on some bangles/bracelets or wearing a great pair of statement earrings.

- What: J. Crew Brompton Hobo in espresso, $298
- Who: Ashley, Connectuct
- Question: I'm forever searching for the perfect brown hobo bag, and this one from J.Crew has caught my eye. I like the option of the shoulder strap, and the bag looks supple and roomy, but not HUGE! I don't typically spend lots of money on handbags, so for me, this is a splurge. It seems like a good investment that will only get better with age... what do you think? Any other options around or below this price point, but made with quality materials? Oh, and I'm leaning toward the espresso color, but also like the henna. Advice? Thanks!
- Answer: There is really nothing negative to say about this bag. The worn in looking leather is pretty, the shape is classic and functional, the hardware is minimal. This bag manages to be slouchy and structured at the same time and it looks expensive and well made. We love J. Crew right now and feel like they can really do no wrong. All the colors are pretty but we agree that the espresso is probably our favorite. GO FOR IT AND SPLURGE. You will carry this bag for years and years.
